Some dyeing

I've been doing lots of dyeing for custom orders over the last few days, here are a few of them.

Trims added to Bazaar and Tutti Frutti

Katie

If the weather co-operates hopefully I'll get more finished later. At the moment it seems to rain as soon as I hang it our to dry.

Midnight...

My "midnight" colour has been very popular, here is the first of a few custom requests I've had for it.

The crochet really shows off the colours nicely I think, I must find time to do a few crocheted things in between customs.

new things.....

This lovely tank-top "Milo" is the first of a few new clothing items which I will be offering.

There is also a gorgeous long-sleeved dress that I've been planning to do for the last year, but never quite fitted in. Pics of that hopefully coming soon!! And a second style of pinafore dress too to add to the Rainbow dresses I made last year - shown below in a Peacock colour (in the shop now!) Oh and some cardigans too - I defiinitely need more hours in the day for everything I want to do!!

I've also finished off the last of the collaborations with Titches Stitches and the fabulous Apples & Pears fabric.

There are also a couple more new colourways of yarn. They will be added to the shop later.

This one is "Ice" on 150g BFL double knit

"Got the Blues" - 200g Organic Merino Aran

phew!!!!

I am sooooo relieved that I tracked down my missing parcel at the sorting office. Good old Royal Mail not leaving a card, thanks!! Anyway, now I have the cotton I've finished off the longies.

And here's another sunhat finished as well.

a bit of everything...

This new colourway has just been added to the shop. It is called Rustic - I was playing with different blends of colours and I love the way it has turned out.

Another pair of scrappy crops. I love doing scrap!

And this is a revamped version of the skirt and leggings I showed off a few days ago.

I have a hat to finish tonight and then I'm going to be working on a few new things.....

Monday 24 August 2009

Crops, longies and some wool....

I finished these crops last night, they are lanolising and will be off to their new owner soon

I'm a bit worried about these cotton longies for another customer - Royal Mail seem to have lost the rest of the cotton I've ordered. I've run out now, so they are on hold while I keep my fingers crossed that it turns up.

And here's another new colourway I've done while testing some colour mixes - it is orange, violet and blue, but the violet is a bit darker than I was expecting. I'm pleased with it though.

Finished skirtie and leggings....

Mexicali longies and half a skirt....

These are the longies to match the hat I finished a few days ago. They are cotton so not waterproof just to be worn as trousers

And this is a skirtie with leggings-style legs I'm working on. It will be finished later today I hope.

Fairy Lights...

I love this skirt. The colours were chosen by the customer and are just beautiful and delicate.

Another hat... Sour Green Apple

Yummy Yarn :)

Here is the yarn I've been working on this weekend. It's all been added to the shop now

200g "Divine" Organic Merino Aran

200g "Tutti Frutti" Organic Merino Aran

100g "Exotic" British Merino Aran

100g "Summertime" British Merino Aran

Mexicali hat

This cotton hat will have a matching pair of longies as well

Apples & Pears....

I've had a busy weekend knitting and dyeing. A lot of the dyeing is destined to be knitted up over the next few weeks, but there will be a few colourways to be stocked in the shop later.

This is the second of 3 sets I am working on with gorgeous summer tops made from "Apples and Pears" fabric by Karen at Titches Stitches. This set has a soakerless skirt made from wool which I have dyed to match the colours of the fabric.

Sundae Delight.....

This set has been a long time coming after several disasters with the wool I'd chosen for it. In the end I've matched the handpainted top (at the customer's request) with one of my own colourways "Exotic".
